Time to Settle In

I love this time of year , brisk mornings, chilly evenings, and here in our part of Colorado the days warm up to balmy 60-70 degrees...PERFECTION!

They call this area of the state the Banana Belt…Usually, we have mild versions of all four seasons….what is unusual for us, is the two snowfalls that have already fallen.

I hadn’t even had a chance to pull up all of our dead sunflower stalks before the first frosty wintry morning came blustering in.…

Oh well, it's here, so time to light the stove and settle in for season...
